You may first be asking, Why do I paint pet portraits when I paint abstracts? Friends started asking me to paint their beloved pets and I discovered the joy of capturing someone's treasured furry friend. I also tell people that my 'left' brain paints pets, whereas my 'right' brain paints abstracts. :)
